Moving!

For those of you who have never moved and really do not know how hard it is... I envy you!!! I have moved 10 times over the last 15 years. UGH!!!
I am currently drowning in boxes but I do plan to get back ASAP!

I can not say any names to protect the innocent but my 12 year old son had two first yesterday. He shaved for the first time and gave his first talk in church. I can not believe my baby is old enough to shave. Where did all those years go?

His talk was on Patriarchal Blessings. He wanted to tell a joke to start off and thought of something clever to say all on his own. He said that the Bishop wanted to give him a going a way present and he thought it was so considerate of him to give him this chance to talk.

He was nervous and talked really fast and quiet. He did a good job and I was pleased we did not have to fight him. It was nice to say the Bishop wants you to speak and make him the bad guy. He could not speak back to the Bishop.

Something that made us smile

OK, so the pig kiss was a smile of horror!

Bryce can relate to this! Not that he has had a bad haircut but that he hates haircuts!

I Am Dog Tired!!!

I am not complaining, just stating a fact. I have been working from sun up to sun down. I have been cleaning, packing, and moving!!!
It is such a blessing to have a day of rest.
Actually we worked well past sun down. Last night we got home at 10:30 pm and then realized we had quite a bit of work here to prepare properly for the Sabbath!

Need some advice

I heard a few years ago that green had become a neutral color. What is your opinion? Is there a shade of green that is a neutral color? If one were to put a supposed neutral green carpet into their home, would it not be out of date in 5-10 years?

What shade is that neutral green, if there is such a color?

Here it is Jenn!

1-Link to the person who tagged you and post these rules on your own post...

2-Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog- some random- some weird.

3-Tag 7 people at the end of your post-leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.

4-Comment to the people you tagged and let them know they've been tagged.

Here are mine:

1. I have a fear of large crowds. I can handle church but struggle with church activities. I think that is because church is very structured and you do not have to talk to anyone if you do not wish to. I freak at activities because you are thrown in a large room with lots of people and have to strike up a conversation with someone. I would much rather have to speak in Stake Conference than try to socialize at a random activity. Funny thing is I enjoy Small parties.

2- I wish I had eloped.

3- I loved playing "Secret Agent" with my best friend Heather Howell in third grade. How to play: Sneak around public places (hotels were best) and avoid being seen.

4- David makes the best steaks(I wrote this for you Jenn:)! They are so good that Bryce almost worships them. He wants to have a steak house when he grows up and if he can make them like his dad I am sure he will be successful. I however want Bryce to be a History Professor. Bryce LOVES history (like his mom) and he has a knack for teaching (like his dad).

5- Bugs usually don't bug me, nor do snakes, lizards, spiders etc. I guess one advantage to having boys. However one time last year I was mopping and found a HUGE spider which I killed promptly (I kill spiders because of the worry of poisonous spiders biting my children, call me a mother grizzly bear). As soon as I killed it, 100 baby spiders went running in a million different directions. This did put me over the edge and I freaked a bit. Other than that I do OK. Even the three black widows we have found in our home recently have not rattled me.

6- I had a dream last night that I was showing my mom and my sister homes that were for sale. The problem was I was not a Realtor (which I am not) and I did not have permission to be in the homes. The first home, we had to sneak out of before the owners discovered us. I made it out but my mom did not. The second home Mechelle and I did not make it out. However it was Harrison Ford, Steve Murphy and some other celebrity who caught us. They talked to us like it was normal for us to be in their home. Then they asked Mechelle what her name was and she said Julie W.

7- In 8Th grade I was voted best looking not because I was especially pretty but because I went through puberty especially early and was especially endowed. It was very humiliating for me. I have since lost most of that anatomy due to breast feeding. I love it, David mourns it:)

I don't like tagging people so no pressure...
Mechelle, Frumpy, Heidi, Rachel, Jen, Wonder Woman, & Michelle T.

Here are some photos of the inside!

Just a few pictures of the inside. I need to take some more of the downstairs and such. This week is a BUSY week of deep cleaning, painting, and packing. Fun times!
