So how is it that a four year old is completely incapable of getting dressed and/or making his bed on his own but can create amazing towers out of blocks, any possible shape imaginable out of play dough, draw pictures of all kinds, and fold up his blankie perfect so that he can take it on road trips?

I have a perspective from the four year old's view, since I have the same problem1! It's all about what we WANT to do vs. what we HAVE to do!! He obviously has some genetic connection with his aunty!

Yeah! I hope by fall he will be a little more motivated to get dressed so that he will not have to go to school in his PJs:)
